August - Our summer exhibition is ‘Lazy, hazy days ...’ celebrating all things summery. The gallery is open 10 am to 5 pm Tues – Sat. And Bank Holiday Monday 11 am to 4 pm. This is a one month exhibition featuring a wide range of new work both from our resident artists and visiting makers, with an underlying theme of picnics, holidays and time to relax and daydream. September and October – As the days draw in, and the leaves begin to fall, we open ‘Journeyings’ a reflective two month exhibition with fresh work on the theme of adventures and explorations of the body, mind and spirit, captured in the mixed media of ceramics, glass, metal, paint, prints, textiles, wood, willow and stone. Jane Keay, a well known local artist who exhibits in the Made in the Marches Gallery is the tutor of the Kington club The classes take place on Thursday afternoons from 2-4pm at the Marches Gallery in Church Street. Each term, Spring, Summer and Autumn, lasts ten weeks.
