The Red Cross – Great Spring Gardening Event
Great Spring Garden Event, now in its 19thyear, will be held at Newport House, Herefordshire. Newport House is thought to have been the home of the Lollard martyr Sir John Oldcastle (1360-1417) who was the model for Shakespeare’s Falstaff. Newport House-Out of Nature Sculpture Exhibition In October 2017 we stage the third Out Of Nature sculpture exhibition in the gardens and grounds of Newport House in Herefordshire. For three weeks, 1–22 October, more than 40 sculptors, from all over the UK, many with an international profile, create a visual feast set against the stunning autumnal colours of Newport House gardens.
