Aulden Arts & Gardens Weekend
We, together with our neighbours, have held an Aulden Arts weekend for charity occasionally over the last few years. The Weekend is a relaxed opportunity to talk gardens and art, and hopefully is as much enjoyed by visitors as it is by us. Thank you for visiting in 2017 and raising £2250 for the National Garden Scheme. Aulden Arts 2019 is on Sat. 29th & Sun. 30th June - you will be very welcome.
Lost in the back lanes of Herefordshire, 4 gardens looking to celebrate art in our gardens. Our gardens vary from traditional to the more zany – as does our art! Come and see our work, explore the gardens, sit awhile and enjoy our yummy cakes! Aulden Farm art will be on display in our barn - canvases inspired by walks, stitchery by Nature. We are drawn to that fertile ground where realism meets abstraction. Hill View: a tranquil garden with art by Tricia Mitchell. Honeylake: Mature, peaceful garden designed to encourage wildlife with a pond & numerous nest boxes. Cottage flowers predominate, interspersed with fragrant English roses, lawns & a well-stocked traditional vegetable garden. The garden is an inspiration for art work using a variety of media, especially watercolour. Oak House: 2/3 of an acre of evolving garden with amazing views towards Upper Hill Currently has good bones, but is fraying round the edges. Divided into several areas including borders, ponds, chickens and a working vegetable plot. Art is photography and textiles which will be displayed throughout the garden.
