A Summer Evening with the Lay Clerks will see performances from the adult
musicians who sing at the choral services throughout the week and form the
“back row” of Hereford Cathedral Choir.
The concert will begin with sacred music from the medieval period through
to the present day. The second half provides an opportunity for music which
would not normally be heard in the choir stalls, and will include a mix of
traditional folk songs and close harmony arrangements.
